I chose this piece by Annette Messager because I found it to be very interesting. The piece is comprised of 98 framed water colors done by the artist, and each is hung individually to make this spiral. I like how as a big picture it looks like the spiral is bleeding down the wall because of the material used to hang each piece, but when you take a closer look at the piece, it looks like 98 little individual works that make up one whole piece. If you look at it long enough you can almost fall into it. It sort of reminds me of a yo-yo hung by many strings, even a snails shell, or a never ending spiral stair case.
