This piece was done by Hsiao-Chi Tsai and Kimiya
Yoshikawa. Tsai is originally from
Hsin-Chu City, Taiwan. Yoshikawa is from Tokoname city, Aichi Japan. Tsai and Yoshikawa are currently based in
London, England. They work and exhibit
internationally. They have been working
collaboratively since they graduated from the Royal College of Art in
2006. They graduated with Masters of
Art in Mixed-media textiles and Sculpture.
I chose this piece because I haven’t seen anything like it. I like that there is so much detail. I also like that it is colorful. I think the light bulb in the center makes
the artwork more interesting.
